XFQ-EB Series Fan Applications
The XFQ-EB fan model falls within the low-flow, medium-to-high-pressure category, achieving a maximum efficiency of 87%. It can be used as a blower/exhaust fan, pulverized coal fan, dust extraction fan for metallurgical dust removal equipment in steel mills, and for high-pressure forced ventilation. XFQ-EB fans are particularly suitable for primary and secondary fans in circulating fluidized beds, high-pressure induced draft fans, dust removal fans, and main exhaust fans in sintering plants.

Example: Design parameters for a circulating fluidized bed fan: Pa=101325Pa; p1=1.2kg/m³; Flow rate=87531m³/h; Total pressure=16952Pa Selection Option 1: Without XFQ-EB series models, only XFL-SY N19D (n=1480r/min) could meet these parameters Selection Option 2: With the XFQ-EB series model available, the XFQ-EBN8D (n=1480 r/min) can be selected within a specific dimensionless curve segment (previously blank). As shown in Table 1, to meet the design parameters, selecting the XFL-SYM19D would result in the fan efficiency is 81% with an impeller power of 482.5 kW. Selecting the XFQ-EBN18D yields a fan efficiency of 87% and an impeller power of 449.2 kW. This improves fan efficiency by 7.4% and reduces impeller power by 6.9% (both options fall within the high-efficiency zone). However, using the XFQ-EB model achieves greater energy savings compared to the XFL-SY model.
For fans with a pressure coefficient of 0.7 and narrow impellers, achieving a maximum internal efficiency exceeding 87% is quite challenging. Efficiency is a critical performance parameter in technical bidding. It directly determines the required power consumption. A high-efficiency fan holds a competitive advantage in winning bids. Moreover, this model series fills a gap in the performance curve for the 0.7 pressure coefficient range and features low blade inlet wear, extending impeller service life. Consequently, this series represents a highly efficient, energy-saving, and versatile fan type with strong competitiveness and broad application prospects.
