Inspection and Replacement of High-Temperature Axial Fan Belts

The high-temperature axial fan is a component prone to damage; please check the degree of wear on the high-temperature axial fan regularly. If the surface of the high-temperature axial fan shows severe wear or cracks, please replace the high-temperature axial fan. Prerequisites for replacing the high-temperature axial fan: After the high-temperature axial fan belt has been correctly adjusted, the belt tension is not stable; the high-temperature axial fan is damaged or broken; the high-temperature axial fan belt is severely worn and has clearly lost its ability to rotate Secondly, the procedure for replacing the belt: Please disconnect the power supply before replacing the high-temperature axial fan belt. Once the fan has come to a complete stop, proceed with the replacement. To ensure adequate lighting at the work site, two people are required (typically using spotlights, strobe lights, torches, etc.). Use a suitable ring spanner or open-ended spanner (a ring spanner is recommended) to loosen the four positioning bolts on the motor. Loosen the adjustment screw on the motor’s fan-side housing and adjust the screw on the motor’s cooling-side housing to minimise the gap between the high-temperature axial fan pulley and the motor pulley (if the gap between the main pulleys is insufficient, move the adjustment mechanism on the motor’s cooling-side housing forwards until the gap is appropriate; adjustment can then continue). If there are two motor belts, the outer belt is removed from the smaller pulley. Using the inner side of three fingers on one hand, tap the underside of the belt gently whilst applying force to the outer side, then rotate the belt clockwise to remove it. Remove the inner belt. If there are multiple motor belts (three or more), the method for removing the inner and outer belts is the same as for two belts; the central belts should be moved one by one towards either side. At the same time, you must react quickly and move your hands to a safe position in good time. During disassembly work, it is strictly prohibited for two people to work simultaneously; one person must carry out the work whilst another supervises on site. When fitting the belts, first place the belt on the pulley of the appropriate size, move the lower part of the belt with your fingers, and then fit them one by one. Adjust the tension of the belt. Loosen the adjustment bolts and positioning bolts on the air conditioning side of the motor housing. Tighten the adjustment bolts on the fan side of the motor. Adjust the tensioner screw to gradually increase the distance between the pulleys. Please check the tension of the belt. The standard is to press the centre of the belt with your finger; it should give 10–20 mm. The tension should be consistent across all belts.
