HTFC centrifugal air handling units are devices used for ventilation and exhaust in industrial settings, and they are widely utilized in many applications. Consequently, there are numerous types of products on the market, with varying levels of quality, and determining their quality requires certain technical skills. 1. Quality Inspection of HTFC Centrifugal Air Handlers 1. Determine the pressure around the HTFC centrifugal air handler. (1) Measure the dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures of the air inlet duct of the HTFC centrifugal air handler, and measure the temperature within the measurement plane. (2) These measurement data can be used to appropriately determine the airflow density across the relevant planes. 2. The performance parameters of the HTFC centrifugal air handler, including its operating status when the guide vanes are in the fully open position. To compare test results with the HTFC centrifugal fan unit’s performance parameters, the guide vanes must be fixed in the fully open position during testing. 3. Record all nameplate data related to the HTFC centrifugal fan unit, including voltage and rated load current values, and measure the motor’s fan speed, amperage, voltage, and wattage. 4. If the length of the air duct on the outlet side of the HTFC centrifugal air handling unit is insufficient, additional system resistance will be generated. Therefore, to calculate the system’s additional resistance value, it is necessary to measure its cross-sectional area and the fan’s air supply area. 2. Installation and Construction Techniques for HTFC Centrifugal Air Handling Units 1. Basic Acceptance (1) Based on design drawings, product samples, etc., verify that the machine foundation’s external dimensions, position, height, and pre-drilled holes meet requirements. (2) The surface of the HTFC centrifugal air handling unit foundation must be smoothly ground, and the flatness of the foundation must be verified. 2. Equipment Installation (1) When an HTFC centrifugal air handling unit installed on the floor is not equipped with vibration isolators, it must be connected to the channel steel frame using vibration isolators. The channel steel frame must be secured to the concrete foundation with expansion bolts. The unit must be kept level during installation. (2) The vibration isolators for the HTFC centrifugal air handling unit must comply with the design specifications. 3. Equipment Transportation (1) When using heavy machinery, a crane must be operated under the supervision of a designated signal person, and all tools and ropes used must meet safety requirements. (2) During overall installation, ropes used for transport or hoisting must not be attached to the rotor, housing, or bearing cover.
