1. Vibration in high-temperature stainless steel fans. When a high-temperature stainless steel fan is rotating, if the physical center of gravity of the rotor and the moment of inertia of the rotating shaft are not aligned on the same axis, the balance of the rotor will be disrupted. The misalignment between the rotor’s center of gravity and the rotational axis is referred to as eccentricity, which is caused by rotor imbalance. When the rotor rotates, centrifugal forces generate forces on the shaft supports, resulting in vibration that is transmitted through the main structure to all parts of the machine. 2. Air-cutting noise in high-temperature stainless steel fans. During operation, the blades of a high-temperature stainless steel fan are subjected to the impact of periodic, uneven outlet airflow, which generates noise. On the other hand, due to the blades themselves and the uneven pressure distribution across them, external disturbances in the surrounding air and components are caused. Rotation also generates rotational noise. Additionally, as gas flows over the blades, turbulent boundary layers, vortices, and vortex shedding occur, resulting in pulsations in the blade’s pressure distribution and noise caused by vortex noise. The cutting wind noise of the fan is also relatively loud. 3. Abnormal Noises. While the sound of airflow may resemble the sound of wind, any deviation from this is cause for concern. If sounds other than airflow are heard while the fan is operating, it can be determined that the fan is producing abnormal noises. These noises may be caused by foreign objects, bearing deformation, collisions resulting from improper assembly, or loosening due to uneven motor winding, among other factors. 4. Fan Service Life The service life of a fan refers to the period during which the heat sink operates normally without issues. High-quality products typically have a service life of tens of thousands of hours. If price and performance are comparable, the difference becomes clear. A fan’s lifespan is determined by various factors, including the motor’s lifespan, the operating environment, and the power supply.
