Unlike other fans, explosion-proof centrifugal fans require the working medium to enter and exit along the axial direction of the fan, operating under the action of centrifugal force. If the vibration of an explosion-proof centrifugal fan is excessive, the motor current will increase, and the temperature will rise significantly. In severe cases, the motor windings may burn out. Additionally, this can have adverse effects on components such as bearing anchor bolts, bearings, and the shaft. There are three primary causes of excessive vibration in explosion-proof centrifugal fans: first, the product quality of the fan; second, the quality of installation; and third, operational factors. To minimize vibration in explosion-proof centrifugal fans, first strictly follow the correct installation procedures, including facility inventory and inspection. Pay close attention to basic inspections, markings, gaskets, and the configuration of anchor bolts before installing the explosion-proof centrifugal fan to ensure a smooth installation. Components; After completion, equipment adjustment is required. Before using the explosion-proof centrifugal fan, a comprehensive inspection must be conducted to verify the manufacturer’s product quality and check for any damage or deformation during transportation, including the degree of bending. The shaft must not exceed 0.10 mm. Regarding this, due to site constraints, only a preliminary inspection can be conducted at the installation site. At the same time, verify that the blade outlet angle of the explosion-proof centrifugal fan’s impeller matches the manufacturer’s design drawings. Additionally, confirm the thickness. Do not forget to ensure compliance with the design specifications for the explosion-proof centrifugal fan and its reinforcement. Please verify that the adjustment doors and collection devices of the explosion-proof centrifugal fan are functioning properly.
