Use and Maintenance of High-Temperature Axial Fans

First, before installation, carefully inspect all components of the high-temperature axial fan to ensure they have not been damaged during loading, unloading, transportation, or impact. If damage is found, installation should only proceed after repairs have been made. 1. When installing the high-temperature-resistant axial flow fan, do not place the weight of the gas transmission station’s piping on the housing to prevent deformation. After installation, manually rotate the propeller to ensure it moves freely without binding or jamming. Tighten the motor locking bolts to secure the unit. 2. The power consumption of the motor is the sum of the fan’s rated power and the motor’s reserve power under rated conditions, not the power required when the circuit breaker is fully open. Since the motor operates without external resistance, it is in a dangerous state. For safety reasons, a valve must be installed at the outlet or inlet of the high-temperature-resistant axial flow fan. 3. Close the valve before starting the motor, and open it slowly after startup until normal operation is restored. Operating conditions and current values must be monitored at all times; current values must not exceed the specified limits. Fourth, as required, AC motors must be equipped with magnetic starters. 4. If abnormal vibrations, unusual noises, strange odors, or other irregularities occur during operation, stop the unit to investigate and resolve the issue immediately. 5. To prevent rust, regularly clean dirt and water from the high-temperature-resistant axial flow fan and ductwork.
