The operating principle of a high-pressure boiler fan is that air flows into the impeller chamber and rotates along with the propeller driven by the motor. Meanwhile, the movement of the impeller generates kinetic energy, which is transferred radially outwards from the impeller to produce the high-pressure airflow. In terms of structural classification, there are three main types of high-pressure boiler fans. Let us examine their respective applications: 1. Single-inlet high-pressure boiler fans feature an inlet and outlet that can be connected to an exhaust duct. They employ a square design, offering high efficiency. The narrow blades and multi-wing configuration result in a wide impeller with excellent aerodynamic performance. With high airflow, low noise, compact dimensions and easy installation, they are widely used in canteens, restaurants, small eateries, kitchens, entertainment facilities and basements. 2. Boiler high-pressure fans have only one air outlet connected to the air duct, whilst the air inlet remains open. Air enters the fan through the gaps on both sides of the impeller, which features a double-row, double-support structure. As there are two impellers, there are two intake ports. In this configuration, the unit takes on a chassis-like shape. Double-suction centrifugal fans offer high airflow capacity and boast advantages such as stable operation, safety and reliability. They are widely used in air-conditioning systems in large shopping centres, hotels and theatres. 3. Boiler High-Pressure Fans Boiler high-pressure fans can be housed within a frame or assembled into a unit. Sound-absorbing materials, such as acoustic insulation, are placed between the housing and the fan to protect the fan’s internal components. Featuring heat resistance, light weight and low vibration, these fans are easy to install and operate, and are widely used in ventilation and exhaust systems in mines, office buildings, theatres and high-rise buildings. Boiler high-pressure fans are primarily divided into these three categories. Originally simple devices used to transport coal gas in mines, they have since evolved into a wide variety of fans used across diverse industries, from industrial machinery to air conditioning units, playing an integral part in our daily lives.
