Do You Know the Four Common Minor Faults in Corrosion-Resistant Centrifugal Fans?

If a corrosion-resistant centrifugal fan malfunctions during operation, it can cause delays and affect efficiency. Today, we’ll address issues caused by improper operation and overuse, discuss maintenance methods for corrosion-resistant centrifugal fans, and provide solutions to various problems. First, the corrosion-resistant centrifugal fan is overheating. (1) Too much oil in the reservoir, or the oil is too thick or contaminated; (2) Clogged filter or silencer; (3) Pressure exceeds the specified limit; (4) Worn propeller blades causing excessive clearance; (5) Poor ventilation, high indoor temperature, or high inlet temperature; (6) Operating speed is too slow, causing the belt to slip. Solutions: (1) Reduce the oil viscosity or drain some oil; (2) Clear the blockage; (3) Reduce the pressure differential across the blower; (4) Adjust the clearance; (5) Open the vents to lower the room temperature; (6) To prevent belt slippage, increase the speed. Second, issues with insufficient airflow in the corrosion-resistant centrifugal blower: (1) The built-in filter is clogged; (2) The propeller is worn, resulting in increased clearance; (3) The belt is slipping; (4) High inlet pressure loss; (5) Air leaks in the ventilation ductwork. Solutions: (1) Remove dust and clear blockages from the filter; (2) Adjust clearances; (3) Tighten the belt and increase the number of belts; (4) Adjust the inlet pressure to the specified value. III. Oil Leaks from the Outer Cover of the Corrosion-Resistant Centrifugal Fan. (1) Oil tank is too high, causing oil leaks; (2) Worn seals causing oil leakage at the shaft end; (3) Pressure exceeds the specified value; (4) Blocked bends in the wall panels and fuel tank, causing oil to leak onto the housing. Solutions: (1) Lower the oil level; (2) Replace the seals; (3) Clear the bends; install a 2 mm diameter plug in the central cavity and open the plug beneath the wall panel.
