This will facilitate maintenance and repairs. For centrifugal corrosion-resistant fans with motor outputs of 75 kW or less, no valve is required; simply start the unit. When using a centrifugal corrosion-resistant fan to exhaust high-temperature flue gas or air, a start-up valve must be installed to prevent the motor from overloading during low-temperature operation. The installation foundation for the housing of a centrifugal corrosion-resistant fan must possess sufficient strength, stability, and durability. The natural frequency of the foundation must be less than one-third of the rotational speed of the main components—the motor and the housing. The difference in vibration velocity between the motor and the housing must be at least three times the required value. Flexible couplings must be installed at the connections between the inlet and outlet of the centrifugal corrosion-resistant fan housing and the ductwork. Suction ducts, exhaust ducts, and other equipment must be independently supported by the building’s foundation or other structural components; the fan frame must not bear the weight of other components.
