After installing the high-pressure centrifugal fan, conduct a test run according to the following procedure.

For newly purchased high-pressure centrifugal fans, there is a task more important than commissioning before use; therefore, the fan cannot be put into service immediately after installation. On the one hand, commissioning ensures proper installation; on the other hand, it also ensures normal operation in the future. 1. Please verify the following before beginning. (1) Verify that the high-pressure centrifugal fan’s power supply (voltage, switches, etc.) and electrical circuit meet the electrical requirements, and that the wiring is correct. (2) Verify that the anchor bolts, fan body, accessories, and duct connectors are securely fastened, and that bolts and nuts are tightened evenly to avoid localized over-tightening or looseness. (3) Check whether any foreign objects, such as tools or other debris, remain inside the high-pressure centrifugal fan or ductwork from the installation process, and whether there are any hazards—such as objects near the fan’s inlet or outlet that could be sucked in or blown away. If so, remove them. (4) Verify that the bearing lubricant (grease) is sufficient and undamaged. ① For bearings using grease, the manufacturer has already applied an appropriate amount of grease to the bearings; no additional grease is required before initial operation. ② For bearings lubricated with light oil, verify that the oil level meets the specified requirements before starting the fan. (5) For high-pressure centrifugal fans with water-cooled bearings, verify that the cooling water supply is functioning normally. [6] For high-pressure centrifugal fans driven by a coupling or drive belt, verify that the coupling or pulleys are securely installed and that the V-belt tension is appropriate. If the system is equipped with shock absorbers or air valves, verify their operating status. Special attention must be paid to high-pressure centrifugal fans. High-pressure centrifugal fans must be fully shut down before startup. In the case of Akhishov fans, they must be fully started. Under these conditions, the startup load on the high-pressure centrifugal fan can be minimized.
