Cleaning and Maintenance of Axial-Flow Roof Fan Coils

Just like with other fan coils, the cleaning and maintenance of axial-flow roof fan coils are extremely important. Axial-flow roof fans do not easily accumulate dust or acid-containing particles; therefore, the filter screen should be removed and cleaned using pressurized clean water or a spray, then soaked after cleaning before being reinserted into the filter frame. If cleaning is not performed in a timely manner, the airflow of the axial fan will be significantly reduced, power consumption will increase, noise levels will rise, and the overall performance of the axial fan coil will decline. Filters are typically cleaned every 3 months; the cleaning method must be selected first. The main advantage of this method is that it does not require the filter assembly to be removed. Please regularly check whether the flame switch and solenoid valve are functioning properly; if any issues are found, address them promptly. This does not apply to the application process, due to its specific mission and environmental conditions. Dust buildup on the fins of the axial roof fan coil must be cleaned once a year. After cleaning, removing stains, and disinfecting, ensure that airflow remains unobstructed. The fan blades of the axial fan are surrounded by a vortex, making cleaning difficult without disassembly. You can clean them with a medium-sized, powerful vacuum cleaner or by washing them with water. Mixed-flow axial fan coils generally use belt-driven centrifugal axial fans, so the drive belts need to be inspected and adjusted monthly, and the bearings of the axial fans need to have their lubricating oil changed once a year.
