Key Considerations for Selecting Stainless Steel Fans

  1. Select based on airflow capacity: Airflow capacity is one of the primary factors determining the model. If the rated airflow is lower than the actual airflow, some exhaust gases may be emitted untreated, failing to meet emission standards. Conversely, if the rated airflow exceeds the actual airflow, it will result in unnecessary treatment costs and increased operational expenses.

2. Select based on composition: Different exhaust gas compositions require specific stainless steel fan models. Common exhaust components can be handled by standard stainless steel fans, while specialized compositions necessitate specialized equipment to ensure compliance with emission standards. 3. Select based on space constraints: For high-capacity exhaust treatment, prioritize models offering superior cost-performance. Where space is limited, opt for compact equipment designs. 4. Select based on processing technology: If the company's overall process is already established, choose the most suitable equipment model according to that process.    02

Stainless Steel Fan Startup Considerations        Before startup, the following checks and confirmations must be performed. During trial operation after installation and alignment, pay attention to the following points and handle them with care.

Before starting the stainless steel fan, verify that the electrical circuit is functioning normally. 1. Confirm that the specifications of the stainless steel fan and prime mover meet the order requirements, and that all accessories are complete.

2. Inspect the power supply (voltage, switches, etc.) and wiring to ensure compliance with electrical requirements and correct wiring connections. 3. Check for condensation, dust, or other debris inside the stainless steel fan and ductwork. If present, thoroughly clean these areas to prevent major malfunctions during fan startup. 4. Verify that anchor bolts, the stainless steel fan body, all accessories and auxiliary devices, and ductwork connections are securely fastened as required. 5. Verify alignment of all components. For stainless steel fans with couplings or belt drives, inspect the coupling or pulley assembly, V-belt installation for reliability, and confirm the coaxiality between the fan shaft and motor shaft meets requirements. 6. Check bearing lubricant (oil/grease) levels for sufficiency and integrity. If equipped with an oil supply system, conduct a 2-hour trial run to measure oil temperature and pressure for normalcy. 7. For stainless steel fans with water-cooled bearings, verify that the cooling water supply is functioning normally. 8. Manually rotate the fan shaft and prime mover shaft to check for smooth rotation and confirm no abnormalities. 9. Rotate the prime mover independently to confirm its rotation direction matches the fan's rotation direction. Simultaneously verify no abnormalities exist on the prime mover side.

10. For stainless steel fans with drives, check that all V-belts are uniformly tensioned. 11. When using couplings requiring lubricating oil, verify that the injected lubricant meets specifications. 12. Confirm that control dampers or valves are fully open or closed with no abnormal operation. For stainless steel fans, startup load is minimal when inlet/outlet dampers are fully closed for centrifugal types and fully open for axial flow types. 13. For stainless steel fans equipped with forced lubrication systems for bearings, verify the oil level in the reservoir, ensure the reservoir and oil supply lines are clean and unobstructed, confirm the rotation direction of the oil pump, and check the water supply/drainage mechanism and interlocking devices of the oil cooler for proper function. 14. Additionally, provide necessary training to relevant operators beforehand to ensure they can: Promptly execute appropriate corrective actions according to the operating supervisor's instructions when unexpected situations arise during fan startup.
