BYS Jet Fan Product Description  

The impeller blades of the BYS series jet fans are designed based on aerodynamic principles. Driven by an electric motor, they rotate to exert force on the air. (Under specified geometric parameters) they generate maximum thrust, propelling the airflow out of the discharge section at high speed and drawing surrounding air along with it to flow forward.

When airflow approaches stagnation, the next set of fans activates to continuously replenish fresh air while expelling contaminated air, ensuring a steady circulation of clean, fresh air within the tunnel.

BYS Jet Fan Applications and Case Studies  

The BYS series jet fans are power-driven mechanical ventilation equipment specifically designed for longitudinal ventilation systems in highway and railway tunnels, as well as for smoke exhaust control during emergency situations.

It can also be used for ventilation in similar applications such as tunnels and auxiliary tunnel projects. The jet fan can operate continuously under ambient temperatures ranging from 25°C to 35°C. In the event of a fire within the tunnel, it can continue operating for a short period (1 hour) at temperatures up to 250°C.
