Guangdong Environmental Protection Industry Association 2025 Spring Kickoff Exchange Event - Xinfeng Station Successfully Held!

 On March 20, 2025, coinciding with the Spring Equinox—one of the 24 solar terms when day and night are of equal length and all things begin to sprout—the "Gathering Energy, Creating Together: Guangdong Environmental Protection Industry Association 2025 Spring Kickoff Exchange Event" was successfully held at Xinfeng Fan's Third Factory District. Leaders from the Guangdong Environmental Protection Industry Association and representatives from over a hundred environmental protection enterprises gathered to discuss a green future and chart a new chapter for the industry.

The opening dance "Return to the Han and Tang Dynasties" kicked off the grand event with a majestic spectacle. Address by the Leadership of the Guangdong Environmental Protection Industry Association

Mr. Mai Jianbo, President of the Guangdong Environmental Protection Industry Association, stated in his address that this event brought together diverse forces, showcasing the environmental protection industry's sense of responsibility and commitment. President Mai first extended his gratitude to the Deqing County Party Committee, County Government, and Xinfeng Fan. President Mai emphasized that as a benchmark in Deqing's fan manufacturing sector, Xinfeng Fan not only drives technological innovation for multi-sector applications but also champions industry exchange with a pioneering spirit rooted in Confucian values. Its ethos of "cultivating oneself to establish a career while benefiting the industry" embodies the very spirit of this event's initiative. Regarding Deqing's development, in 2024, leveraging its rich historical heritage and policy opportunities like the "Hundred-Thousand-Million Project," the county's fan industry achieved a scaled output value exceeding 3.3 billion yuan, with a growth rate surpassing 21%. This has established Deqing as a nationally leading environmental equipment manufacturing base, while government-enterprise collaboration has fostered a first-class business environment. Xinfeng Fan leverages patented technologies to reduce pollution and carbon emissions, translating Confucian corporate governance principles into "technology for good" initiatives that inject robust momentum into industrial upgrading. Finally, we call upon the industry to unite through cultural consensus, drive transformation through innovation, and amplify value through collaboration. Address by the Leadership of Deqing County

Ms. Chen Sufang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Deqing County Party Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department, delivered the opening remarks for this event. On behalf of Deqing, she extended a warm welcome to the Guangdong Environmental Protection Industry Association and extended cordial greetings to the entrepreneurs who had traveled from afar. Ms. Chen noted that Deqing has consistently prioritized green development, emphasizing that this event provides an excellent platform for exchange and collaboration among all parties. She expressed her hope that participants would engage in in-depth discussions and explore shared development opportunities in Deqing, working together to contribute to the environmental protection industry. Mr. Zheng Lishen, Executive Vice President of the Guangdong Environmental Protection Industry Association, provided a detailed overview of the development of Zhaoqing's environmental protection industry. He noted that Zhaoqing has achieved remarkable results in its environmental protection industry in recent years. In 2023, the city had 65 environmental protection enterprises included in the statistical scope, with total operating revenue reaching 11.22 billion yuan. Among this, environmental protection revenue amounted to 10.8 billion yuan, accounting for 96.3% of total operating revenue. Operating profit reached 460 million yuan, with the city's overall profit margin at 4.1%. This margin exceeded the provincial average (3.2%) by 0.9 percentage points, reflecting substantial progress. The city remains committed to green development, actively promoting environmental technology innovation and application. Mr. Zheng emphasized that Zhaoqing's environmental protection industry has begun to demonstrate clustering effects. Moving forward, Zhaoqing will intensify support for the environmental protection industry, foster high-quality industrial development, and contribute to ecological civilization construction.

Development Status of Guangdong Province's Environmental Protection Industry in the Atmospheric Sector

Mr. Li Yunfei, Executive Vice President of the Guangdong Environmental Protection Industry Association, stated regarding developments in air pollution prevention and control: Guangdong Province has achieved remarkable results in air pollution prevention and control, with continuous improvements in air quality. Mr. Li emphasized that with the advancement of digital transformation and low-carbon intelligent development, the environmental protection industry in the atmospheric sector is embracing new development opportunities. Guangdong Province will continue to strengthen policy support and technological innovation to drive high-quality development in the atmospheric environmental protection industry, providing robust support for winning the battle for blue skies and building a beautiful Guangdong.

Ms. Deng Jinju, President of the Zhaoqing Environmental Protection Association, stated: Since its establishment, the Association has been dedicated to advancing the development of Zhaoqing's environmental protection industry. Through formulating industry regulations, participating in technical standard development, and organizing technology evaluation and promotion initiatives, we provide comprehensive services to member enterprises. Ms. Deng emphasized that the association will continue to serve as a bridge and link, strengthening communication between government and enterprises, promoting environmental technology exchange and cooperation, and supporting the high-quality development of Zhaoqing's environmental protection industry to contribute to building a green and ecological city.
