How to Address Odors from Stainless Steel Fans

9-19-3

Many consumers report that stainless steel fans may develop odors after prolonged use, with the air they circulate feeling less fresh. The primary cause is infrequent cleaning, leading to water deterioration.

When dust accumulates on the filter screen over extended use, how can you resolve the odor issue in stainless steel fans?

1. After prolonged use, dust accumulates on the filter mesh and copper plates. Excessive dust buildup generates odors, significantly compromising the air quality delivered by the stainless steel fan.

2. During the cooling process, stainless steel fans produce moisture. When the air conditioner is turned off, units without a drying/mold-proof function cease operation immediately. This prevents moisture from continuously dissipating, leading to musty odors and moldy smells over time.

The specific operation method is as follows:

In fact, when this situation occurs, if it hasn't been too long, you can wipe away the accumulated dust on the panel and air outlet and wash off the odor from the filter.

If the stainless steel fan emits a pungent odor after being used for a period of time, it should be stopped first. Check the cause and take corresponding measures to resolve it to avoid the same fault recurring, reduce maintenance frequency, and extend the service life of the stainless steel fan.
