Structure of the XFS Series Forward-Curved Double-Inlet Box-Type Centrifugal Fan

Particle control in the air has always been a subject of human research. High-tech products require dust-free environments to ensure quality, and healthy living standards depend on clean air, necessitating purification and filtration of the air. Our company has introduced advanced equipment and technology from both domestic and international sources to develop primary, intermediate, and high-efficiency filtration exhaust (supply) air cabinets primarily focused on air purification.

The XFS series fans utilize high-pressure multi-wing fans. The cabinet surface panels are constructed with double-sided color-coated steel sheets, featuring an intermediate layer of soundproofing and heat insulation panels. The outer columns are made of aluminum alloy profiles, presenting an elegant and stylish appearance. The filter employs a removable design, allowing for easy extraction and cleaning. These units are widely used for supplying air to cleanrooms in chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, computer server rooms, paint booths, and other dust-free environments; as well as for pressurized air supply in central air conditioning systems.

Installation of XFS Series Forward-Curved Double-Inlet Ducted Centrifugal Fans    The XFS Series forward-curved double-inlet ducted centrifugal fan is a high-efficiency ducted centrifugal fan unit. Depending on the installation location, multiple inlet and outlet positions at different angles are provided to meet diverse user installation environment requirements.

  1. The entire XFS forward-curved double-inlet centrifugal fan unit shall be installed directly on the foundation and leveled using paired shims.

  2. 2. For field-assembled XFS forward-curved double-inlet centrifugal fans, the base placement must be leveled or shimmed to prevent tilting.

  3. 3. Sufficient clearance must be maintained around the unit to facilitate installation, operation, and routine maintenance.

  4. 4. When assembling the XFS forward-curved double-inlet centrifugal fan casing, align the casing position using the rotor shaft centerline as the reference. Adjust the axial and radial clearances between the impeller inlet and the casing inlet to within the ranges specified in the equipment technical documentation. Simultaneously, verify that the anchor bolts are securely fastened.

  5. 5. During alignment of the XFS forward-curved double-inlet centrifugal fan, the misalignment between the fan shaft and motor shaft should not exceed: 0.05 mm for radial displacement and 0.2/1000 for angular deviation. 6. For XFS forward-curved double-inlet centrifugal fans with rolling bearings, the misalignment between bearing bores on both bearing housings may be adjusted after rotor installation, ensuring smooth rotation.

Maintenance of XFS Series Forward-Curved Double-Inlet Box-Type Centrifugal Fans   1. When operating XFS series forward-curved double-inlet box-type centrifugal fans, ensure the surrounding environment remains clean. Keep the fan surface clean, prevent debris from entering the inlet/outlet, and regularly clean dust from the ductwork.

2. When operating XFS series centrifugal fans, ensure the fan is functioning normally and verify that the power supply has sufficient capacity with stable voltage. 3. If abnormal noises, motor overheating, or electrified casing occur during operation of XFS series centrifugal fans, immediately shut off the power and conduct an inspection.
