Requirements for Motors in Centrifugal Fans

It is crucial for centrifugal fans to be equipped with motors that meet fan specifications. The following editor will outline the requirements for motors in centrifugal fans. Under rated operating voltage conditions, the motor current must be maintained within the appropriate application range during startup.

Multi-phase motors are used in centrifugal fan equipment. The phase sequence is marked on the nameplate at the terminal box, with direction arrows indicating rotation. The motor's design, manufacturing, and performance must comply with relevant standards.

The drive motors employed in centrifugal fan equipment vary slightly across different operational environments. Examples include AC, asynchronous, and air-cooled motors. However, the fan motor must have Class F insulation, a temperature rise rating of Class B, and an IP54 protection rating. The power supply voltage is 380V ±10%, 50Hz.

The rated performance of centrifugal fan motors should be designed to be no less than 120% of the required equipment capacity. When operating at full load, the motor must maintain normal operation without damage under frequency variations of ±5% and voltage fluctuations of ±10%.
