Winter Solstice arrives, dumplings abound! The solstice comes as promised!
Winter Solstice forever carries the meaning of reunion and warm anticipation. "Winter Solstice arrives, dumplings are served" is not merely a saying, but a beautiful expression of affection for home. To uphold this heartwarming tradition, Xin Feng organises a special dumpling-making event each year on the Winter Solstice, ensuring every member of our "family" feels the profound warmth.
01 Get stuck in, for goodness' sake—it's all about the fun!

There's no distinction between experts and novices here—only the joy of learning together. Around the large bowl, several people mix the filling while those skilled in wrapping guide the less experienced. Techniques for pinching pleats and secrets for sealing the edges are shared amidst laughter and banter. The playful banter and laughter—more vibrant than any background music. When rows of dumplings are neatly arranged, round, plump, or with ruffled edges... each has its own charm, all part of the collective "showcase of achievements."
02 This time, we made our own dumplings too!

The Guangzhou Business Department team have ditched the takeaway delivery service! This time, it's finally our turn to roll up our sleeves and make dumplings ourselves! The boss's wife led everyone in preparing dumplings for the Winter Solstice celebration – not just boiled dumplings, but also hotpot chicken! All homemade, mind you! Utterly delicious!
03 As the dumplings cooked, so did our hearts grow warm.
Steaming hot dumplings filled our mouths with contentment. Eating dumplings we'd made ourselves, the flavour seemed especially fragrant. At that moment, we'd wrapped inside not just delicious fillings, but also the harmony of working together, relaxed and joyful laughter, and a warmth that felt just like home.

The Winter Solstice is not merely a solar term,
but a cherished tradition of warmth.
May you find the most comforting companionship
on this longest night of the year.
