​Performance Requirements Analysis for High-Pressure Centrifugal Fan No. 5


6Over the past year, numerous industrial sectors have established explicit environmental protection standards. Simultaneously, flue gas from thermal power plant boilers has become a key and challenging treatment focus. Consequently, certain projects often require upgrades, with the High-Pressure Centrifugal Fan No. 5 being essential equipment in such retrofit initiatives. To ensure effective practical application, what performance requirements must this No. 5 high-pressure centrifugal fan meet? For clarity, we can analyze this using a 130T coal-fired boiler as an example. Here, the fan's design pressure is 3000Pa, with a design temperature range of 0~160℃, and it requires an integrated inlet valve. Structurally, materials should be selected based on actual design standards. The housing of the No. 5 high-pressure centrifugal fan should be fabricated from gas-shielded welded steel structures, while the impeller should adopt a welded construction and undergo static and dynamic balancing tests. Air seals or oil seals may be used for the bearings. Additionally, related accessories must be considered. For instance, the inlet and outlet of the booster centrifugal fan should be equipped with corresponding compensators, square-to-round adapters, flanges, and counterflanges. The inlet should incorporate a silencer. During assembly, the fan and motor must be integrated into a single unit and secured within a base frame. The structure must be compact without compromising maintenance accessibility. In other words, assembly must ensure the stability of the No. 5 high-pressure centrifugal fan's fundamental configuration and implement appropriate measures to keep noise within specified limits. If necessary, a variable frequency drive should also be installed. It is important to note that even for boilers of the same output, the corresponding model of the No. 5 high-pressure centrifugal fan may vary depending on factors such as pipeline network design. This cannot be generalized.
