Maintenance, Inspection, and Installation Guidelines for Coating Machine Dedicated Fan Drive Components

If a V-belt drive is required for the coating machine dedicated fan in actual operation, the V-belt drive components must be regularly inspected, adjusted, and replaced. During inspections, pay particular attention to the accumulation of powder, burrs, and obstructions. These issues can cause belt aging, leading to wear on the drive components. Therefore, during inspections, burrs should be promptly removed, and foreign objects must be prevented from entering the fan bearings. Additionally, pulley wear must be regularly assessed. Severe wear can significantly impair equipment functionality. Consequently, if significant wear is detected on the fan pulleys, they must be replaced immediately. When inspecting belts within the transmission system, noticeable debris on one side of the belt may indicate improper alignment of the centrifugal fan pulley. To address this issue, the pulley should be reinstalled following these steps: 1. Place the pulley onto the corresponding shaft; 2. Align both pulleys using a straightedge; 3. Tighten the pulley bolts. Note: If the pulley is mounted on the motor shaft, it may easily cause the centrifugal fan to overspeed, potentially damaging the structure. Additionally, when adjusting the motor position, ensure it is close to the belt and appropriately adjust the belt tension. After the motor and transmission components are securely installed, a balance test must be conducted on the entire centrifugal fan before leaving the factory. Since the coating machine cannot balance the entire unit, the transmission section of the coating machine dedicated fan should undergo dynamic balancing promptly after installation to verify the operational status of the coating machine dedicated fan.
