Maintenance of Cabinet-Type Centrifugal Exhaust Fans Requires Special Attention

IMG_0526Proper maintenance is crucial for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of cabinet-type centrifugal exhaust fan units and extending their service life. Therefore, maintenance must be prioritized during the operation of these units. Naturally, each component requires appropriate hardening methods tailored to its specific hardening needs. First, the key maintenance points for the propeller of a cabinet-type centrifugal exhaust fan are as follows: 1. During the initial operation phase and all periodic inspections, check the impeller for defects such as cracks, wear, or dust accumulation whenever possible. 2. Maintain the impeller cleanliness throughout the cabinet-type exhaust centrifugal fan operation. Personnel should regularly brush off dust using a wire brush and adjust surface color indicators. Prolonged operation allows dust to accumulate unevenly on the impeller, disrupting its balance and causing rotor vibration. 3. Note that if the propeller undergoes repairs, dynamic balancing tests must be repeated. Where feasible, utilize portable balancing testers for on-site balancing. Before dynamic balancing, verify all mounting bolts are securely tightened. Prolonged operation in an unbalanced state may cause these bolts to loosen.
