Maintenance Intervals and Procedures for High-Pressure Centrifugal Fans

Maintenance Intervals and Procedures for High-Pressure Centrifugal FansIMG_2331To ensure the long-term stable operation of high-pressure centrifugal fan units, maintenance must be performed according to specific objectives. The maintenance cycle for high-pressure centrifugal fan units is significantly influenced by their usage frequency. Additionally, the dust content and characteristics within the medium greatly impact fan wear, necessitating adjustments based on actual operating conditions. Typically, during operation of high-pressure centrifugal fan units, personnel must ensure the unit undergoes maintenance every 3 to 6 months. The unit undergoes maintenance every 12 to 24 months. That is, maintenance is performed based on the specific application. The unit undergoes maintenance every 24 to 48 days. The basic maintenance tasks for high-pressure centrifugal fan units are primarily as follows. 1. Inspect and clean all bearing components. Replace bearing lubricants or oils, indicating standard, low-grade, or high-grade oil specifications. 2. Verify sealing integrity across all sections and remove internal contaminants. 3. Check for cracks, rust, wear, or loose screws. Address issues with blade baffles and guide vanes. 4. Inspect the coupling and its protective cover; replace worn rubber elastic rings. Additionally, meticulously examine the fixing bolts of the centrifugal fan unit for damage, promptly repairing insulation materials to prevent leaks. Simultaneously, inspect and repair shock absorbers, confirming flexibility and proper alignment. Furthermore, inspection and maintenance of the cooling water system are essential. For intermediate repairs and maintenance of high-pressure centrifugal fan units, beyond the aforementioned minor repairs, static repairs must be performed based on wear at the fan blade welded joints (rivets), including blade (rivet) repair or replacement. Balance checks are required. Furthermore, severely worn sections of the high-pressure centrifugal fan housing and blades require repair, welding repairs, or replacement of the wear-resistant lining layer.
