Commissioning Procedures for Explosion-Proof Centrifugal Fans To fully leverage the inherent superior performance of explosion-proof centrifugal fans, trial operation must be completed after installation. The following outlines this process. We hope this proves helpful. The commissioning steps for explosion-proof centrifugal fan units are as follows: 1. After installing the explosion-proof centrifugal fan unit, manually rotate the unit and use a stethoscope to detect any abnormal sounds. Carefully eliminate any issues such as collisions or scratches. 2. After confirming normal operation in the above test, open the bearing chamber of the explosion-proof centrifugal fan unit. Inspect whether the lubricating oil meets requirements for color and dust/oil content, whether connecting components are securely fastened, and whether the alarm sections of electrical components meet technical specifications. 3. After confirming all components are adjusted as required, remove the connecting pins and test the explosion-proof centrifugal fan motor for 1 hour. Then, verify that the motor rotates correctly, operates with normal sound, exhibits normal no-load current, shows normal motor temperature rise, and confirms normal temperature rise for the motor bearings. Ensure all detection and control components function properly. Check that all wires maintain normal temperatures and have reliable connections. 4. Upon confirming the above tests are normal, install the coupling pins as required. Spin the multi-stage centrifugal fan unit once to confirm normal rotation of the unit and components. Ensure the panel displays normal readings. Proceed with commissioning. 5. During actual operation, pay special attention to observing the operational status of the explosion-proof centrifugal fan. If the unit surges, immediately adjust the valve until the surge subsides. First, run the centrifugal fan under light load for 1 hour while monitoring all instrument readings for normalcy. Then, shut down to inspect whether any component connection parts are loose or displaced before commencing stable production operation.
