Introduction to Corrosion Prevention Methods for Centrifugal Box-Type Fan Impellers
Based on actual production site conditions, we have re-examined the corrosion resistance of centrifugal box-type fans. Considering the medium and temperature of the manufacturing process, as well as the diameter and rotational speed of the impeller, the specific corrosion prevention methods are as follows:
1. First, grind the corroded impeller and perform perforation.
2. Apply 901 or 470 resin evenly over the impeller body. Bond polyester cloth to the impeller surface and membrane using polyester fabric.
3. Apply another layer of 901 or 470 resin evenly over the polyester cloth. Bond with glass fiber cloth. The bonding surface must be flat.
4. Apply 984 or 470 resin evenly over the bonded fan pad and reinforce with glass cloth reinforcement.
5. Apply a layer of 984 or 470 resin to the mating surface to ensure proper alignment with the centrifugal box fan.
