This also applies to the operation of corrosion-resistant duct fan systems. Therefore, should an unforeseen situation arise, the fan must be shut down as soon as possible. So, what exactly constitutes an emergency shutdown? In the case of centrifugal fans, an emergency shutdown involves pressing the stop button on the main motor to halt the unit, followed by the execution of residual operations. Generally, during the actual operation of corrosion-resistant duct fans, emergency shutdown measures should be implemented when the following situations arise: 1.
