How to Install Guardrails and Belt Tensioners for Industrial Boiler Fans?

There are still people who know absolutely nothing about industrial boiler fans. For example, when it comes to belt installation, most people only think about the belts themselves, but forget about the guardrails and tensioners. However, for industrial boiler fans, guardrails and tensioners play a very important role. Therefore, any errors during installation will inevitably affect the normal operation of the industrial boiler fan, indirectly impacting its operational efficiency. So, how should the guardrails and protective barriers be installed correctly? First, let’s discuss the correct method for installing guardrails. Generally, if a protective guardrail is required for an industrial boiler fan, a mesh guardrail should be installed to ensure proper ventilation. Second, if a belt support is required for the fan’s drive system, the primary belt support must be installed on the inner side of the drive belt, typically at the slack end of the belt. Furthermore, it should be positioned as close as possible to the large pulley. Please note that V-belts must be used for the belt support. During the assembly process, the distance between the center of the tension pulley and the small pulley of the industrial boiler fan must not exceed one-third of the belt width. The diameter of the tension pulley must be the same as that of the small pulley. Furthermore, the belt’s natural elongation must also be taken into account. Furthermore, it is important to understand that a pulley is not a single component but rather an assembly consisting of multiple parts. Therefore, during the installation of pulleys for industrial boiler fans, attention must also be paid to the integrity of the pulley assembly.
