Generally, the belt tension of a T30 axial fan can be adjusted using a belt tension indicator. If a belt tension indicator is not available, the desired tension can be achieved by balancing the springs and adjusting the ratio. When the T30 axial fan is driven by multiple belts, a thick connecting rod can be installed across the total width of the belts. This ensures proper distribution of the force acting on the drive belts of the T30 axial fan. Additionally, the measured force value can be divided by the number of belts in the assembly and compared with the reference table. For single-belt transmission, the measurement point must span two pulleys; please note that this is the measurement reference. If the measured value falls within the specified range, it indicates that the rotating assembly is properly set; conversely, if the measured value exceeds the limit, it indicates insufficient belt tension. Generally, newly installed transmission systems require a tension slightly higher than the rated value, and belt tension should be checked after 30 minutes of operation. Adjust the belt tension of the centrifugal fan as needed. So, how can we ensure proper tension for the T30 axial fan? In fact, to ensure excellent performance in practical applications, the inherent length of the belt must be maintained from manufacturing through to the finished product. The specific solution is as follows: 1. After wrapping the belt around the two pulleys, adjust the belt tension to the appropriate value. 2. Run the unit under rated load for 30 minutes. Then, stop the T30 axial fan and verify the tension. Generally, if the center distance of the drive system is short, specific values cannot be determined due to belt deflection; therefore, the deflection and force may be doubled.
