Precautions for Installing Duct Supports for Boiler High-Pressure Fans

Currently, the application of boiler high-pressure fans is not widespread, primarily covering industrial equipment, equipment manufacturing, and civilian equipment. However, in practical applications, some users and professionals often opt to install duct supports to save costs. So, what issues should be considered when installing duct supports for boiler high-pressure fans? Below, we will share a summary with you, hoping it will be helpful. First, when installing duct supports for boiler high-pressure fans, the bolt holes on the supports must be drilled evenly; gas welding is not permitted. Second, when the supports include diagonal braces, the welds must be fully penetrated. Third, during the fabrication of the supports, precision in punching must be ensured to guarantee that there are no lap welds in the middle of the supports. Additionally, before installing the supports, workers should first remove all rust from potential leakage areas and apply anti-rust paint for protection. Furthermore, workers need to mark the centerline of the ductwork on the walls, columns, and floor, then select appropriate installation positions and heights to ensure that the levelness and planar center position of the ductwork meet requirements after the boiler high-pressure fan is installed. When installing duct supports for the boiler high-pressure fan, the distance between two supports is generally maintained at 3 meters. In areas within 3 meters, a support must be installed at each end, and additional supports must be added at tee and elbow locations. In addition to the above considerations, adjustments must be made based on specific on-site conditions. For example, if the duct cross-section is small, expansion bolts can be used to secure the duct hangers to the floor. If the duct is large, drilling must be performed for secure mounting. Furthermore, no other types of pipes or cables should be installed on the duct supports for the boiler high-pressure fan.
