Material Selection for High-Pressure Centrifugal Blowers: 1. High-pressure centrifugal blowers primarily consist of an impeller, crankcase, inlet, bearing housing, main shaft, and bearing housing bracket. The impeller, housing, and inlet are generally made of ordinary carbon steel Q235A, while the main shaft is made of high-quality 45# carbon steel. Due to the complex shape of the bearing housing, HT200 cast iron is typically used. The bearing housing support can be made of cast iron or fabricated by welding cast iron to structural steel (angle steel, channel steel) and steel plates. 2. The use of substandard materials such as laminated or double-walled sheets is strictly prohibited during the manufacturing process of high-pressure centrifugal blowers. The outer surfaces of workpieces must not have visible scratches. For aluminum materials, the depth of localized scratches must not exceed 0.3 mm, and the key performance indicators of substitute materials must meet the primary mechanical performance requirements of the components. Corrosive materials rated below Grade B must not be used on the outer surfaces of rotating parts or other components. 3. When selecting materials for high-pressure centrifugal blowers, factors such as the corrosiveness of the fluid, fluid temperature, dust content in the conveyed gas, explosion-proof requirements, and cost-effectiveness must be considered based on the blower’s specific application and operating conditions. What is a high-pressure centrifugal blower? Is it a high-pressure centrifugal blower? A high-pressure centrifugal blower is a specialized fan designed for high-temperature operating environments. High-pressure centrifugal blowers are widely used in the chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, forging, power, nuclear power, and environmental protection industries. Structural Features of High-Pressure Centrifugal Blowers 1. A high-pressure centrifugal blower primarily consists of an impeller, housing, inlet, motor, connector, and cooling fins. 2. The impeller is a single-inlet, multi-blade centrifugal design, manufactured from high-quality galvanized sheet metal or cold-rolled steel. The blades are designed according to aerodynamic principles. The impeller consists of 10 aerodynamically backward-curved blades, a curved front blade, and a flat rear blade. It is made of high-strength, durable, high-quality steel and undergoes rigorous dynamic and static balancing. This ensures smooth operation. 3. The inlet adopts a convergent aerodynamic vortex reduction design, featuring low airflow loss and high operational efficiency characteristic of high-pressure centrifugal blowers. 4. The housing of the high-pressure centrifugal blower is formed from metal and connected to the motor. The motor shaft end is equipped with cooling fins. Inlet and outlet water pipe connections are provided on the outer wall of the metal housing to cool the housing and shaft end, ensuring normal motor operation under high-temperature conditions. 5. The motor is a specialized high-temperature model, and the fluid-handling components of the high-temperature blower are made of heat-resistant materials. The cooling system is reliable. Compared to other boiler induced draft fans, it offers advantages such as a simple structure and convenient operation. It is easy to maintain and delivers high performance.
