Compared to standard corrosion-resistant centrifugal fans, heavy-duty models differ in certain aspects, so the precautions to take during installation and removal are also different. Here, we will introduce some tips for installing and removing heavy-duty corrosion-resistant centrifugal fans, which we hope will be helpful to everyone. First, for high-performance centrifugal corrosion-resistant fans, the entire process—whether assembly or disassembly—must be performed by qualified professionals in strict compliance with safety regulations. For example, during transportation, it is essential to ensure that the lifting equipment’s load-bearing capacity meets requirements, maintain a safe environment, and prevent accidents. Second, when installing the machine, pay attention to the tools and ropes used; they must be sufficiently sturdy to meet the fastening requirements. For example, hinges, steel wire ropes, and nylon ropes with good support points should be used. In addition, in most cases, corresponding lifting eyes should be provided on the body of the heavy-duty centrifugal corrosion-resistant fan. During the lifting process, care must be taken to protect the exterior coating and prevent the unit from being compressed, bent, or deformed. It should be noted that the bearing housing of the heavy-duty centrifugal corrosion-resistant fan must be intact during installation. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to hang the shaft directly on the frame at any time. In other words, whether during lifting or storage, care must be taken to protect the bearings to prevent damage. Furthermore, the fan shaft must only be lifted to avoid damaging the surface coating and compromising the balance. In short, care must be taken throughout the entire process to avoid scratching the bearings of the heavy-duty centrifugal corrosion-resistant fan. If the fan shaft becomes bent, it will cause equipment vibration or bearing failure, affecting normal operation.
