The belt tension on high-temperature centrifugal fans can generally be adjusted using a belt tension indicator. If a belt tension indicator is not available, a spring scale or balance can be used instead. If the drive system of the high-temperature centrifugal fan consists of multiple belts, a rod can be placed across the combined width of the belts. This ensures an even distribution of the force acting on the belts of the high-temperature centrifugal fan. Furthermore, the measured force value can be divided by the number of belts in the set and then compared with the numerical table. Please note that in the case of a single-belt drive, the rod must extend across both pulleys on the right-hand side; this serves as a reference point for the measurement. If the measured value falls within the specified range, the adjustment of the rotating assembly is considered correct; conversely, if the value exceeds this range, it indicates insufficient belt tension. Generally, newly installed drive systems should be set slightly above the rated tension value, and the belt tension should be checked after 30 minutes of operation. If necessary, adjust the belt tension of the high-temperature centrifugal fan. So, how can the initial voltage of the high-temperature centrifugal fan be ensured? In fact, to ensure superior performance in practical applications, it is essential to maintain the inherent length of the belt from manufacture to the finished product. The specific solution is as follows: 1. Wind the belt around the two pulleys, then adjust the belt tension to the appropriate value; 2. Run at rated load for 30 minutes. Then stop the centrifugal fan and check its voltage. Generally speaking, if the centre distance of the drive system is short, the ratio cannot be measured due to the influence of belt deflection, thereby doubling the deflection and force.
