How to install the guard rail and belt tensioner for a centrifugal fan?

At present, some people still lack sufficient understanding of high-pressure centrifugal exhaust fans. For example, when installing pulleys, most people focus on the pulleys and belts, but they overlook the existence of the guard rail and belt tensioner. However, for high-pressure centrifugal exhaust fans, the guard rail and belt tensioner play a vital role. Consequently, any errors during the installation of high-pressure centrifugal exhaust fans will inevitably affect the normal operation of the pulleys, indirectly impacting the operational efficiency of the centrifugal fan. So, how should the guard and belt tensioner be installed correctly? Firstly, let us explain how to install the guard correctly. Under normal circumstances, if a high-pressure centrifugal exhaust fan requires the installation of a guard, a mesh guard should be fitted to ensure adequate ventilation. Secondly, if a belt tensioner is to be fitted to the drive system of a high-pressure centrifugal exhaust fan, it is essential to ensure that the first-stage pulley bracket is installed on the inner side of the drive belt, typically on the free side of the belt. Furthermore, the tensioner must be positioned as close as possible to the large pulley. It should be noted that for standard tensioners around the belt, a V-belt should be selected. During assembly, it must also be ensured that the distance between the tensioner pulley and the centre of the small pulley on the installed high-pressure centrifugal exhaust fan does not exceed one-third. The diameter of the tensioner pulley should be the same as that of the small pulley. Furthermore, account must be taken of the belt’s specific elongation range. Moreover, it must be understood that the pulley assembly is not a single unit, but rather a whole comprising multiple parts. Consequently, when installing the pulley assembly for a high-pressure centrifugal exhaust fan, the integrity of the pulley assembly must also be taken into account.
