Important Information on Selecting Fire-Rated Cabinet-Type Centrifugal Fans

1. Engineering designers and end-users should select the type of fire-rated cabinet-type centrifugal fan based on the characteristics of the installation location. Then, determine the number of fans and the required power from the performance table, and select the motor. In addition to the motors listed in the performance table, other types of motors may be selected; please specify this when placing an order. Fire-rated cabinet-type centrifugal fans should be calculated and selected according to the formula. 2. Regarding the performance data for various speeds in the performance table, the data for efficiency up to 90% is divided into 4 to 8 points based on flow rate; therefore, please refer to the performance table when placing an order. 3. Upon shipment, the total pressure of the fire-rated cabinet-type centrifugal fan must not exceed 5.5 times the specified flow rate. 4. The parameters listed in the performance table are generally calculated based on air as the medium at a gas temperature of t = 20°C, atmospheric pressure of Pa = 760 mmHg, and specific gravity of r = 1.2 kgf/m³ (1 kgf = 9.8 N). 5. If operating conditions differ from those listed above, performance must be recalculated using the formula.
