Refrigeration and air conditioning equipment fans are a type of power machine in modern society, driving impellers to rotate within the housing. Air is drawn into the center of the propeller through an inlet port. Due to the dynamic interaction between the blades and the gas, pressure increases, leading to the invention of refrigeration and air conditioning fans, which have been widely used in mine ventilation systems and gradually become auxiliary equipment in manufacturing enterprises. Driven by technological advancements, refrigeration and air conditioning fans now come in increasingly diverse types with more refined structures, resulting in broader applications. These fans primarily operate by increasing the internal gas pressure through mechanical energy, without involving particularly complex principles, and are widely used as fluid machinery across various industries.

At factory seminars, the role of fans in refrigeration and air conditioning systems for ventilation is particularly important. By improving working conditions, workers' health can be further ensured. In warehouses, these fans help maintain dry air, preventing industrial products from being corroded by moisture present in mine and tunnel environments. In China, the importance of refrigeration and air conditioning fans is irreplaceable. They promote air circulation and dust removal, ensuring efficient operation of mines. Centrifugal fans also represent potential markets in sectors such as ships, buildings, and automobiles. Due to their design, centrifugal fans enhance environmental protection standards in vehicles, buildings, and vessels, significantly increasing the added value of these products.

Below is a brief description of the testing method for performance evaluation of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment fans. First, on-site measurements are conducted, including atmospheric pressure, dry-bulb temperature, connection lengths of inlet and outlet ducts, and core tube area. These data are then recorded in a table for subsequent calculations. Next, motor data are measured: the measured voltages are 382 V, 361 V, and 322 V; currents are 30.2 A, 30.4 A, and 30.7 A; and the motor input power is 27 kW. Then, the nameplate data of this type of motor are recorded. The third step involves calculating the system's additional resistance. Here, the system's additional resistance curve S can be applied based on the ratio of radius to the diameter of four-segment bends. The pipe length between the bend and the fan inlet is 0.896 times the diameter, with a velocity of 15.626 m/s and a density of 1.25 kg/m³. Under these specified conditions, the above data are converted into airflow rate, static pressure, and shaft output power for the refrigeration and air conditioning equipment fan.
