As regulatory oversight of the grain industry has been strengthened, grain reserves across various regions have gradually expanded. In the hot and humid climate of southern China, these conditions have had a severe impact on the storage environment for soybeans. To address the issue of poor air circulation during ventilation and cooling, grain silo managers use corrosion-resistant centrifugal fans to ventilate and cool soybeans in winter and are exploring methods for localized heating. When it comes to winter ventilation and cooling, the uniformity of air circulation for soybeans is lower than that for crops such as wheat and rice. Most farmers use shallow stoves to store soybeans; however, the extent and speed of ventilation and cooling vary significantly across different areas. Generally, ventilation and cooling are particularly slow at the central unloading point (within a 1.5-meter radius). Compared to the temperature and humidity gradients after ventilation and cooling, the peripheral areas are as follows. To ensure the safe storage of soybeans—which exhibit low air uniformity in both winter and summer—anti-corrosion centrifugal fans can be used to thoroughly ventilate the soybean warehouse. By implementing ventilation and cooling, areas with insufficient airflow in the soybean silo can be eliminated or minimized, thereby reducing abnormal temperature fluctuations. The temperature of the soybeans in the center drops sharply, and after the hot areas are cooled using corrosion-resistant centrifugal fans, the soybean warehouse reaches a uniform temperature. In other grain silos, corrosion-resistant centrifugal fans can be used for ventilation and cooling, and the results are also very effective.
