In production lines for filled products, the Type 926 high-pressure centrifugal blower is used when labels need to be applied to the outside of bottles, when printing is required, or when products are placed into boxes. To achieve better results, the surface of the bottles must be dry. Currently, the drying technology using the Type 926 High-Pressure Centrifugal Blower is widely used in filling systems. This blow-drying method demonstrates the advantages of applying pneumatic technology to the packaging process of filled products. By using an air knife powered by a high-pressure blower to generate a high-pressure airflow, the removal of moisture is accelerated. The airflow effectively blows away moisture from the product’s surface. The drying and dehumidification system consists of a high-pressure blower, two types of specialized air knives, and related accessories. The low-velocity airflow emitted by the Model 926 high-pressure centrifugal blower enters the air knife retention chamber via the Model 926 high-pressure centrifugal blower diverter pipe, then forms a high-velocity airflow through a continuously converging, variable-cross-section air knife nozzle. This airflow is concentrated and sprayed onto the surface of the packaging bottles. Each specialized air knife is equipped with an adjustment rod to set the spray height and angle suitable for drying packaging bottles of various shapes and sizes. The drying method using the Model 926 high-pressure centrifugal blower does not require a heating device. During operation of the drying and dehydration equipment, the pressure and airflow characteristics of the Model 926 high-pressure centrifugal blower follow a curved profile. Under non-rated conditions, the air velocity at the nozzle can be dynamically determined through experimental measurements, allowing for real-time adjustment of the high-pressure blower’s operating status. Furthermore, when designing and installing drying and dewatering equipment, attention must be paid to the spray angles of the two air knife nozzles. Due to on-site constraints, air knives driven by the same Model 926 high-pressure centrifugal blower are installed on both sides of the bottle production line. To improve drying efficiency, the air knives on both sides must not blow in opposite directions. When the air knife’s jet velocity is too high, mud spots may form on the bottle surface, potentially affecting performance. Furthermore, the air jets are deflected by the opposing airflow, resulting in increased jet loss. In addition to the considerations required for the bottle handling line, the workbench’s operating speed must also be limited during the design phase to ensure sufficient time for the air knives to blow the surface of the bottles dry. Of course, additional Type 926 high-pressure centrifugal fans and air knives can be installed to improve efficiency.
