Generally speaking, damage to the bearings of explosion-proof centrifugal fans includes clogging of the roller bearing rings and ribs. This can be attributed to insufficient lubrication, structural defects in the oil supply and leakage systems, foreign object ingress, incorrect bearing installation, and overloading. These factors may also overlap due to shaft deflection or other causes. Therefore, it is difficult to determine the true cause of damage by simply examining the bearings. However, by understanding the explosion-proof centrifugal fan surrounding the bearings, its operating conditions, and structure; by assessing the situation before and after the incident; and by considering the damage patterns and potential causes, it is possible to prevent similar incidents from recurring. Implement specific maintenance methods for specific types of wear on explosion-proof centrifugal fan bearings. Not applicable. Unlike fatigue life, this initial damage represents the limit of service quality, often referred to as a failure or accident.
