Stainless steel fans are widely used across various industries, playing a crucial role in enhancing machinery performance. When issues arise that require prompt resolution, exhaust problems can directly impact equipment operation. What should be done in such situations?


1. When stainless steel fans are installed at elevated positions, they must not discharge directly into the atmosphere. Direct air discharge creates excessive pressure differentials between the inlet and outlet, causing the fan to overload. It is essential to ensure the air reaches the open space between rotors under high vacuum conditions.


2. A pre-stage fan should be installed during operation. This device draws system pressure down to an acceptable range before the main fan starts, preventing overload. Suitable pre-stage options include water-ring vacuum blowers, rotary vane vacuum blowers, sliding vane vacuum blowers, reciprocating vacuum blowers, or any vacuum blower capable of direct atmospheric discharge.


3. As the stainless steel blower's rotors continue rotating, the drawn-in gas enters the space between the rotors and the blower housing through the inlet port, then exits via the outlet port. Since the drawn-in space is completely sealed, the gas within the blower chamber neither contracts nor expands. However, when the rotor tips flip over the edge of the air outlet and this space connects to the exhaust side, some gas is forced back into this space due to the high gas pressure on the exhaust side.


This results in a sudden increase in gas pressure. As the rotor continues rotating, the gas is expelled from the stainless steel fan.
