Repairing Damaged Impellers in High-Temperature Axial Flow Fans

photobank (48)

If corrosion on the high-temperature axial flow fan impeller is not severe or there are few sand holes, welding repairs can be performed to correct stainless steel or aluminum alloy impellers.

If wear grooves or eccentric wear at the inlet of the high-temperature axial flow fan impeller are not severe, sandpaper polishing can be used, or polishing if thickness permits.

New or modified impellers may become misaligned during casting or machining, potentially disrupting pump operation or damaging the shaft.

High-temperature axial flow fan impellers utilize thin sheet metal (3mm thickness) formed into concentric arc rings, fabricated into multiple segments of varying lengths. The sheet metal specifications must match the impeller's design or possess equivalent density.

Each new or modified impeller for high-temperature axial fans must undergo static balancing tests and have its inlet and outlet trimmed to remove burrs and ensure smooth flow.

Scope of Application for Explosion-Proof Axial Fans

Explosion-proof axial fans are assembled from diverse components including explosion-proof motors and axial fan blades; The fan blades feature large chord length, airfoil shape, and a wide, skewed structure, enabling the required airflow and pressure to be achieved at low speeds.

The impeller structure of explosion-proof axial flow fans is adjustable. It can be appropriately modified according to the outlet requirements of users and application sites, allowing the sensitive impeller assembly to be symmetrical. Depending on different adjustment angles, bidirectional ventilation can be achieved in the same installation position, providing convenience for users' on-site equipment and applications.

Explosion-proof axial fans feature low noise, low energy consumption, and reliable explosion protection. Installation methods are flexible and diverse, including wall-mounted, duct-mounted, and fixed-position configurations. The fan wheel rotational speed (or motor power or airflow volume) can be selected according to user requirements.

Installation Methods for Explosion-Proof Axial Fans: Fixed Mounting: Includes wall-mounted (also called duct-mounted) configurations where the fan is secured at the ventilation outlet. Rear-Mounted: Also known as mobile units, featuring a column stand with casters for easy relocation. When ordering, specify the required installation method to ensure appropriate accessories are provided.
