Thoroughly examine the axial flow fire fan sample, understanding its specifications, model, impeller rotation direction, and airflow inlet/outlet orientation.
Before installing the axial flow fire fan, inspect the impeller for friction. Conduct a comprehensive check to ensure all components and accessories are intact and connections are secure. Carefully examine the blades for any damage or deformation caused during transportation. If present, they must be corrected before installation.
Ductwork connecting the fan inlet/outlet must be supported by independent brackets. Do not load the fan components with additional duct weight.
During installation, ensure the fan's horizontal alignment. Adjust the interface between the fan and foundation, as well as the outlet duct connection, for natural alignment—never force connections.
After installing the axial flow fire fan assembly, manually rotate the impeller using hands or a lever to check for excessive tightness or friction. Verify no obstructions prevent rotation.
Only proceed with trial operation if no abnormalities are detected. Exposed parts of the fan drive mechanism must be equipped with protective covers (provided by the user). If the fan inlet is not connected to ductwork, additional protective screens or safety devices (provided by the user) must be installed.
