Maintenance, Storage, and Design Requirements for Fire Smoke Exhaust Axial Fans

When requiring a fire smoke exhaust axial fan, verify that all components are present and inspect the exterior casing for damage. Pay particular attention to whether the head rectifier shows damage or deformation, ensure all sections are securely connected, check for damage to the blade motor, and confirm the propeller rotates freely. Address any issues through repair and adjustment. Verify the installation foundation for the fire exhaust axial fan. It must possess sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand operational loads. Additionally, confirm that the connection dimensions between the foundation and fan meet design specifications. During operation, primarily monitor the motor current. This indicates not only fan load but also serves as an early warning for potential abnormalities. Furthermore, always verify that motor and fan vibrations are within normal limits, and check for any friction or unusual noises. For fans operating in parallel, monitor whether the fire exhaust axial fans are experiencing surge conditions. Maintenance and Storage of Axial Fans: 1. Maintain a consistently clean operating environment. Keep the fan surface clean and prevent debris from entering the air inlets and outlets. Regularly remove dust and other particles from the fan and ductwork. 2. Fire exhaust axial fans must only operate under normal conditions. Power supply equipment must ensure sufficient capacity and stable voltage. Hard-starting without soft-starting phases is strictly prohibited. Power cables must be dedicated lines; do not use temporary wiring for long-term power supply. Install circuit protection devices such as leakage protection switches or residual current devices (RCDs). 3. During operation, if the fan emits abnormal noises, the motor overheats, the casing becomes electrically charged, or the switch fails to start, immediately shut down the unit for inspection. Maintenance is strictly prohibited while the fan is running. After maintenance, test for approximately 5 minutes and confirm no abnormalities before restarting. 4. Depending on operating conditions, bearings may require grease replenishment or replacement (motor-enclosed bearings require no replacement within their service life). To ensure adequate lubrication during operation, bearings in the fan assembly and motor must be greased at intervals of no more than 1000 hours. Both inner and outer rings of the bearings are pre-filled with ZL-3 lithium grease. Running without grease is strictly prohibited. 5. Fire-rated axial fans should be stored in dry environments to prevent motor moisture exposure. When storing axial fans outdoors, protective measures must be implemented. To prevent damage, avoid collisions during storage and transportation.
