Precautions for Centrifugal Fans
1. The entire installation of the corrosion-resistant cabinet-type centrifugal fan unit must be placed directly on the foundation, with a pair of shims used to ensure level placement.
2. For corrosion-resistant cabinet-type centrifugal fans assembled on-site, properly protect the cut surfaces of the base to prevent rust or damage. When placing the base on the foundation, use shims to level it.
3. The bearing housing must be tightly connected to the base, with longitudinal unevenness not exceeding 0.2/100. When measuring the main shaft with a level, horizontal unevenness must not exceed 0.3/100.
4. Before grinding the bearing bushings, correct the rotor shaft and casing shaft alignment. Adjust the clearance between the impeller and air inlet, as well as between the main shaft and rear shaft bore. The casing must be adjusted to meet equipment technical documentation requirements.
5. When assembling the main shaft and bearing bushings, inspection must strictly follow the machine's technical documentation. The interference between the bearing cover and bearing housing must be 0.03–0.04 mm (measured between the outer diameter of the bearing housing and the inner diameter of the bearing seat).
6. When assembling the housing for the corrosion-resistant cabinet-type centrifugal fan, the housing position must be based on the rotating shaft. The axial and radial clearances between the impeller inlet and housing inlet are specified in the equipment technical documentation. Simultaneously, verify that the anchor bolts are securely fastened.
If no clearance values are specified in the equipment technical documentation, the axial clearance must be 1/100 of the propeller outer diameter. Radial clearances must be evenly distributed, with values ranging from 1.5/100 to 3/1000 (prioritizing the smaller propeller outer diameter).
During adjustment, reduce clearance values to enhance fan efficiency.
7. For corrosion-resistant cabinet centrifugal fans, when centered, misalignment between the fan shaft and motor shaft must not exceed:
- Radial positioning deviation: 0.05mm
- Angular deviation: 0.2/100
8. For corrosion-resistant cabinet centrifugal fans with rolling bearings, after rotor installation, if bearing hole positions in the two bearing frames deviate, allow flexible rotation.
