In fact, theoretically speaking, high-pressure centrifugal fans appeared on the market relatively early, while after a period of development, shell-type centrifugal fans emerged later. In comparison, the latter is an improved version of the former; however, with technological advancements and developments, current applications have returned to shell-less centrifugal fans. In other words, high-pressure centrifugal fans have become a new, improved type of equipment. For example, in many energy-saving retrofit projects, volute fans have been removed and replaced with non-volute fans. In fact, this high-pressure centrifugal fan is a new energy-saving product developed by our company by integrating the latest international technologies. Since its inception, it has effectively met users’ higher demands regarding noise levels, energy efficiency, and spatial layout. Consequently, high-pressure centrifugal fans on the market are highly favored by consumers. Currently, this equipment is widely used in industrial and mining enterprises, commercial and residential buildings, shopping malls, hotels, theaters, office buildings, hospitals, and other venues. In comparison, high-pressure centrifugal fans feature a simpler and more rational structural design, an aesthetically pleasing appearance, and easier installation and maintenance. However, under normal conditions, since the rotational speed of large-diameter high-pressure centrifugal fans is generally not very high, the noise generated during operation is primarily low-frequency noise. Nevertheless, given current technological capabilities, there are still limitations in suppressing low-frequency noise. Consequently, commercial venues such as cinemas, hotels, and office buildings must invest significant funds to mitigate low-frequency noise. Generally, in most cases, high-pressure centrifugal fans are directly connected to the motor, which not only saves energy compared to belt drives but also significantly reduces operating costs associated with belt wear.
