During centrifugal fan installation, numerous details require attention. After installation, inspect and accept the installation quality to ensure normal operation.
Below we briefly outline these points for your reference.
1. Centrifugal Fan Equipment Foundation Acceptance and Handling Instructions:
Upon completion of foundation construction, promptly conduct acceptance.
During inspection, dimensions of all components should be verified against construction drawings and civil engineering completion documentation to ensure compliance with all specifications.
Key inspection points include:
- Center distance of fan anchor bolts
- Relative alignment of centerlines between fan, speed increaser, and motor
- Thickness of foundation holes
For safety, the grouted surface of the foundation is typically roughened by chiseling.
This process may involve using tools such as hammers and flat chisels, taking care not to cause cracks or large-scale spalling in the foundation.
After construction completion, promptly clean the site to ensure no debris, dirt, oil stains, or other contaminants remain.
2. Primary Installation Sequence for Centrifugal Fan Equipment:
First, position and secure the transmission unit in a suitable location. Once the transmission is in place, promptly align and level it.
Next, install the centrifugal fan's shim plates, then align the base with the lower casing. Place the lower bearing bushings and mount the rotor.
Center the rotor, level the fan, and inspect the fit of thrust bearings, support bearings, and shaft journals.
Next, position the centrifugal fan motor in the designated location, level and align it, ensuring the motor shaft is properly aligned.
Then, correct the alignment of both shafts in the unit. Proceed with foundation grouting, followed by remeasuring and readjusting the unit's levelness and center alignment. Finally, close the unit cover.
